Veteran Services

The Veterans Land Board is a state agency. It was established in 1946 after WWII. Veterans and Military Members in Texas may utilize our services to purchase land or buy a home. The VLB is also the proponent for the 10 state veterans homes and the 5 state veterans cemeteries. Lastly, we offer an oral history program where veterans may record their story and become part of Texas archives forever.
